Well Christmas Day is officially over and I hope that all of you had an awesome holiday. I'm sure we are all (or at least some of us) are fattened up and ready to start tackling our New Year's resolutions to lose weight, get healthy, stay fit, run more, go to the gym more, or whatever else floats your goat this year.
That being said I would like to share some ancient words of wisdom; YOU DON'T NEED TO WAIT UNTIL THE FIRST DAY OF THE YEAR! If you know something needs to be improved in your life or if you want to make a change you don't need a special day to give you permission. While January first is a great day to start things it is still probably only the third best day. The best day to make a change was yesterday, the second best one is today, and New Years day might be third but there is a really compelling argument that tomorrow is the better choice.
I'm not trying to come across as preachy or better than thou because I am just as guilty of forgetting this. I do however hope that this serves as a good reminder to all of us and instead of beating ourselves up in February when we've forgotten to go to the gym 3 times in a row that we make a new resolution that day and start going again.
Honorably and forgetfully,
-Larry
